Books

Books have always been my escape; as a kid, I had horrible nightmares, so I’d spend those midnight hours with my little nightlight on, reading books that’d take me away to all manner of wonderful worlds. I grew up with my nose in books, and nothing’s changed; I still read, every single day, and nothing makes me happier than escaping up to my book nook on my grandpa couch with the read of the day…

I’ve read a LOT of books, and instead of joining up to something like Good Reads, I thought I’d list them here (more for my benefit and memory than anything!); some books I’ve written blog posts on, others I haven’t (yet), but here’s my reading list – no doubt it’ll keep growing at a crazy rate :) As you can see, I love to read just about anything and everything (except crappy romance novels), so if you have any recommendations, please let me know!!!

  1. I read everyday, too. Books are among my favorite things. As a matter of fact when I finished my first marathon, I treated myself to a signed first edition of my favorite book – Alice Walker’s The Third Life of Grange Copeland. I read it every summer.

    • What a gorgeous idea Barbara, that’s such a wonderful reward, and I’m sure means even more to you knowing how hard you worked to earn it :) thanks for stopping by, and for giving me another book to add to my “to read” list!
